DankFest Canceled

It is with my deepest regret to inform you that DankFest 2010 will be canceled. Due to lack of sponsorships we are unable to move forward and properly do what we need to do in order to ensure a successful event. I personally apologize to all of the fans and band who have looked forward to what was supposed to be a great weekend. Anyone who has purchased tickets will be refunded in a timely manner. Tickets purchased online will be refunded directly to the credit card used starting on Monday August 23rd. If your ticket was purchased in person please email john@dankfest.com to make arrangements for a refund. Once again I am deeply sorry for this unfortunate turn of events and we will make this right for everyone involved. Any questions comments and concerns can also be addressed to john@dankfest.com

We have decided to cut the 20% sale short…You deserve better. Instead were gonna kick it into high gear over the next few days and play Beat The Clock. This is going to be our LAST big ticket sale so be sure not to miss the deals. The sooner you buy your ticket the cheaper it is. Starting tonight and through Thursday tickets are only $50!!!! All day Friday tickets will be $60. Saturday – $70, Sunday $80 etc… On top of that we will be giving away a few free Pnuma Trio CD’s at random to people who purchase tickets during Beat The Clock. Spread the word. We dont want anyone to miss the fun.

Featured Artist: Restless Groove

This week’s featured artist is one of the best local bands from Maine since Rustic Overtones. Ya I said it. In their self-titled genre of Progressive Jam Rock, this high energy group blends mind blowing bass lines with dancable grooves and electrifying solos. Wait till you see these guys live at DankFest. They recently released their debut album, The Forest of Dance, on Carbon Vapor Records this spring and are sure to make an impact outside of Maine very soon. All ticket orders made from Midnight to Midnight on Tuesday, August 3rd will receive an additional free ticket to DankFest. Only one order per person will be honored so spread the word. Please bring your receipt and valid photo ID to the will-call call window. The date on your receipt gets you the plus 1. (This is not a buy 1 get one. Whether you order 1 or 5 tickets you will still only receive 1 free ticket at will-call)
